Teacher Resources
As the board of Columbiana Project Playground, our goal is to incorporate local students’ opinions and excitement with the goal to bring a new playground to Firestone Park.
We would love for you to help spread the excitement with your students by participating in the project “Design your Dream Playground”. We are asking each child to design their ideal playground anyway you see fit for your classroom. This could be as simple as drawing a picture, designing on a computer-based program, a physical diagram. Please submit these to https://playatfirestone.com/upload-your-design/
Our goal is to share these designs with the community to allow everyone to be a part of the design of the park and get the conversations started.
As time goes on we will be adding additional resources and lessons, so check back frequently!
We are so excited to bring awareness to the community and get student and community involvement to help “Bring the Fun Back to Funland”!
