Columbiana, OH – The Columbiana Project Playground committee is excited to welcome the community to the 2nd Annual Family Fun Night on Friday, July 18th, 2025, at Firestone Park. The event will run from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a festive Christmas in July-themed Pool Party from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Building on the success of last year’s celebration, Family Fun Night promises an unforgettable summer evening filled with laughter, connection, and entertainment for all ages. Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of games, activities, and interactive experiences presented by beloved local vendors, including Confetti House, Yo! Let’s Play, and Skye’s The Limit Face Painting.
The evening will also feature:
- Sensory stations
- Touch-a-Truck experiences courtesy of LandPro Equipment and Yarian Quality Malts
- The chance to meet and thank our local first responders
Guests can indulge in a delicious assortment of offerings from a variety of food trucks, sure to satisfy every appetite.
“We’re thrilled to host another Family Fun Night for our amazing community,” said Michaela Good, President of Columbiana Project Playground. “It’s more than just a celebration—it’s an opportunity to raise vital funds for our all-inclusive playground project. Last year’s event was an incredible success, and we’re working hard to meet our Phase I fundraising goal by October 1st.”
Ticket Information
- Pre-sale wristbands: $10 per child (available from June 15th to July 16th)
- At-the-gate wristbands: $15 per child
Wristbands grant access to all activities during the main event. The pool party is $5 for each attendee swimming.

About Columbiana Project Playground:
The original Funland was built by volunteers and community members in 1995 and has since served as the foundation for many years of family memories and traditions. The wear and tear of generations of gatherings and playtime has left the current state of the playground in need of repair and upgrades consistent with modern necessities and inclusivity. Like the original project, the new committee was established to assemble volunteers and increase community engagement to once again mobilize construction efforts for a more modern and inclusive design that future generations can enjoy!
